Aw, we can do better than rope, Alex. We could gut some skis and skiboots and make it so you can just pop your foot in and out of like, a clampy thing like on skis.
Actually I think my old boots might be too small but I also think if we like - all we really need is the shell from them, not like the inside.
so like we gotta cannibalize them, but I think you could just pop the cast into the like just toe and heel part of the boot and then clamp into the skateboard.
I didn't want to know and now I know and I think what my brain went to was better but the idea of making a snowboot work with the skateboard is surprisingly clever? I shouldn't be surprised, and yet.
Alex, just please try not to break your other foot while skateboarding. I'm not sure any amount in ingenuity would get you moving safely if that happened...and this isn't an excuse to see how far you can go before you break your other foot too :P
